Driven by urgent defense supply-chain re-shoring efforts, the data highlights major capital investments aimed at expanding capacity for critical precursors and explosives — primarily nitrocellulose (NC), nitroglycerin (NG), TNT, RDX, and HMX. Geographically, activity is concentrated across North America (the U.S. and Canada) and Europe (led by Germany, Norway, the UK, Sweden, and Eastern European partners), representing thousands of new manufacturing jobs and strategic industrial partnerships designed to restore sovereign munition supply lines.
